If you have cracks, chips, or broken teeth, there’s a chance your teeth and oral health will suffer from more than just poor aesthetics. When teeth are damaged in this way, there’s a greater risk of bacterial infection. This can lead to decay that could necessitate the removal of the infected tooth.
We offer our patients at Beveridge Dental restorative solutions that both improve the look of their smiles and protect their health as well. Two such treatments are known as dental crowns and dental bridges.
What Are Dental Crowns and Bridges?
We can place tooth caps and dental bridges in order to help you regain a fully functional — and beautiful — smile!
A dental crown, also known as a tooth cap, is a porcelain covering that goes over the entire tooth to help protect the original tooth crown and its root. If your tooth is damaged, a tooth crown can help restore its strength and functionality.
Our porcelain tooth crowns are made to match your natural teeth, so it should blend in seamlessly with your smile. Dental crowns are most often used for broken and fractured teeth. We can also place a tooth cap after a root canal treatment to help fortify the affected tooth.
I’ve been coming to be Beveridge Dental for years and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a Dentist. From cavities to crowns they treat all in a professional manner. Thank you to Dr.Erin, Arely, and Michelle for all you do to make my visits so pleasant.

A dental bridge is used to replace one or more missing teeth in a row. Replacement teeth will be attached to the teeth on either end of the gap. Adding a dental bridge to fill in larger gaps takes away any additional stress or pressure existing teeth feel to chew food.
In order to support the dental bridge, tooth crowns will be placed on adjacent teeth to keep the bridge securely in place. These tooth caps will provide added strength to your entire bite.
Our dental bridges will blend in seamlessly with the natural surrounding teeth, just like with our tooth crowns do!
